Considering young leaders for nomination to a United States Service Academy is one of my most important responsibilities as a United States Senator. Each year I am encouraged by the number of bright and talented students who contact me requesting my nomination.
To apply for my nomination students should check this page beginning on July 1st to access my electronic application. Read the instructions carefully. It is important to note deadlines and contact information.
If you have questions about the application once it is posted, please contact my Baltimore office. All students who complete my application will be interviewed by my Service Academy review Board. Interviews are held in November. Students are notified of my nomination by mid-January.
I encourage young men and women who are considering a Service Academy to seek leadership positions in your schools and community, keep your grades in good shape, participate in athletics and take the SAT several times to improve your score.
